The CB-SPS-3FN-W6000 by Carterberg is a rugged, screw-to-connect hydraulic quick coupling constructed from high-grade stainless steel for maximum durability in aggressive environments. This model is designed to handle residual pressure during connection, making it a reliable solution for offshore platforms, oil and gas systems, and heavy mechanical shock applications.

With a flush-face, double shut-off design, the CB-SPS-3FN-W6000 ensures reduced fluid loss and enhanced contamination control, even in dynamic or corrosive operations.

Key Features

• Thread-to-Connect Coupling

Secure threaded engagement prevents accidental disconnects under load or vibration. Recommended for high-impulse hydraulic applications.

• Stainless Steel Construction

Fabricated from AISI 316L-grade stainless steel (equivalent to 1.4404), this coupler offers excellent corrosion resistance in offshore, marine, or chemical exposure environments.

• Residual Pressure Tolerance

Specially engineered to allow connection even when there is trapped residual hydraulic pressure in the line. Lubrication of thread is recommended when connecting under load.

• Low Fluid Loss + Non-Spill Valve

Flush-face valve design reduces air inclusion and prevents oil spillage during disconnect, supporting long-term cleanliness in closed hydraulic systems.

• Dual Seal Options Available

Equipped with either FKM (Viton) or EPDM elastomers to suit a wide temperature range and various fluid compatibility needs.
